The Dark Elements Saga by Jennifer L. Armentrout is worth talking about. No spoilers!

Hello there story lovers, welcome to Camsmila. This is my first Blog entry ever and I am using it to talk about the most recent saga I've just recently read. Remember, this is a space for me to share everything and anything that holds a story, so that we can discuss and just...fangirl about them!

White Hot Kiss (Book # 1)

“You need something," he said, and when I stared at him, he added, "Your face." "My face?" "It's in need of my kisses.”

In a world were gargoyles and demons exist, Layla being part of both worlds struggles to fit in and find what and who she really is. Roth, a demon, and Zayne, a gargoyle will be there through out her self discovery, and they'll make you swoon with every action, fast encounter and word they say as Layla figures out with whom is she really in love with.

Jennifer Armentrout knows how to write a book that'll keep you glued to the story as it unfolds in the most fast passed way possible, playing with your emotions and introducing the best swoon-for guys ever. Every page is to die for. Every time you open the book it will make you laugh, sigh, cry or just give you the feels as a good YA novel should.

Personally, it has been quite a long time since I read a book capable of hooking me the way White Hot Kiss did. So if you want to pick up a book that helps you through a reading slump, that thrusts you toward a reading marathon while, at the same time, it's playing ruthlessly with your emotions...and, if you want to fall in love...White Hot Kiss is your book.

PS: Don't judge a book by its cover...I don't like the covers of these books but God! the story is amazing.

Rating: 5/5

Stone Cold Touch (Book #2)

“I love you Layla. Do you hear me? I've loved you since the first moment I heard your voice and I will continue to love you. No matter what. I love you.”

Ok, so after a killer cliffhanger, Stone Cold Touch picks up Layla's screwed, but very sexy, life, this time with a huge hole in her heart, an oh-so-powerful enemy and new raising emotions for her gargoyle best friend/step brother. This time, she'll be tested hard...is she a demon? Is she a gargoyle? or neither? Will she be accepted for what she really is? Is she the key for salvation or for destruction?

If you read White Hot Kiss, there is no way you will be able to continue with your life without knowing what comes next. Just as the first book, Stone Cold Touch plays with your emotions and will make you sit at the edge of your seat.

Personally, I loved it since I was able to keep reading about the characters I fell in love with, but I can't compare it with White Hot Kiss. For me, it was the best book of the three of them.

Rating:4.5/5

Every Last Breath (Book #3)

“You are so beautiful, Layla. And if I could pick one thing I could stare at for the rest of eternity, it would be you.”

The choice is made.

In Every Last Breath, Layla finally understands her destiny and her very tangled strings of emotions. Now she has to face it all. She has to face her greatest fear, her greatest enemy and her own destiny to save the world and the ones she loves.

This book shows the intensity of a truly passionate relationship that we all dream about (at least I do!). It is exciting to see it unfold as everything else around them crumbles. As I said before, my favorite book of this saga is White Hot Kiss, but the end of a saga is a must-read, specially this one. For me, the choices Layla makes are what I wanted her to do, maybe you will feel differently (depending on which guy you team up with!) but I read the last word with a smile on my face and a sigh that shook the very fiber of my heart.

Rating: 4.4/5

I totally recommend The Dark Elements.

Comment down below what you think of my review, of this saga, of Roth and Zayne (omg please!) and I will respond to every one of your comments. Bye!

Your friend, Camila.
